Location:
Located just off Interstate 81 and State Route 309.

Electricity
Supplied by PPL Electric Utilities. Unlimited power is available. A 12 KV distribution line runs along State Route 1009, and a 69 KV distribution line passes through the site. The utility will place transformers on site as required by user’s specifications.

Water
Supplied by CAN DO – a 500,000 gallon
head tank uses 12” and 16” mains which are distributed throughout the McAdoo Industrial Park.

Natural Gas
Supplied by UGI Utilities. A centralized
propane tank system supplies the park with propane at natural gas prices. Four-inch, 20-psi mains run throughout the park.

Sewer
Supplied by CAN DO, 8” mains run
throughout the park.

Telecommunications
Verizon supplies McAdoo Industrial Park with superior communications services, highlighted by an extensive fiber optic network providing a state-of-the-art telecommunications system for your voice, data and video transmissions. This network supports SONET technology for ultrareliable service to customers with critical requirements.

Highways
State Route 1009 (McAdoo – Tresckow Road), adjacent to the western boundary, interconnects with State Route 309, one-half mile west of the site. Exit 138 of Interstate 81 is one mile away, and Exit 141 is two miles away.

Railroad
Reading & Northern Railroad siding passes across the western boundary of the park.

Air
The Hazleton Municipal Airport is six miles away. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is 44 miles (45 minutes) north. The Lehigh Valley International Airport is 40 miles (50 minutes) south.

McAdoo Industrial Park — A KOZ, tax-free solution!

In 1987, two demanding clients didn't want the high-profile location our other parks afforded them. So, CAN DO took 200 acres of land near McAdoo, a few miles south of Hazleton on Route 309, and created the McAdoo Industrial Park.

Today, it is a tax-relief haven, with many available sites of various sizes offering KOZ tax advantages!!!

This park is mostly level land, with plenty of green areas separating lots of various sizes. There are perfect spots for all types of businesses — manufacturing, corporate offices, warehouse distribution, commercial, and even retail/service.

Featuring very attractive land costs, McAdoo Industrial Park is less than a mile from State Route 309. Two interchanges along Interstate 81 are just over a mile away in each direction. The opening of the Southwest Beltway (the new State Route 424), which links Route 309 and I-81 just north of McAdoo, increased access to the McAdoo park. The junction with Interstate 80 is about 12 miles north of this park. That's less than 10 minutes by car or truck!

The McAdoo Industrial Park is served by a superior communications network consisting of fiber optic — ready for voice, data, and video transmissions — and support for SONET technology, which provides ultra-reliable service to customers with critical requirements.

Other infrastructure elements are provided by nationally-known companies such as PPL (electricity) and UGI Utilities. CAN DO provides water through 12- and 16-inch mains, and sewage transmission.
