CAN DO, Inc., Greater Hazleton's certified economic development organization, recently celebrated its 68th anniversary during the highly anticipated Annual Dinner event on Tuesday, June 11th, at Capriotti's Palazzo in McAdoo Industrial Park – located in Banks Township. The evening was filled with celebration, networking, and honoring remarkable individuals and organizations whose contributions have fueled the Greater Hazleton community's success throughout the year.
CAN DO, Inc. recently participated in EAM-Mosca Corp.’s ribbon-cutting celebration for its newly renovated building in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania. The remodeled complex becomes EAM-Mosca’s second structure of a two-building campus that serves its clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America.
EAM-Mosca’s new building is located at 525 Jaycee Drive, close to Interstate 81 and adjacent to the company’s existing headquarters at 675 Jaycee Drive, in Valmont Industrial Park. EAM-Mosca acquired the land in December 2020 and broke ground on the $9 million renovation project in June of 2023. Less than a year later, the company’s strategic expansion is officially open for business, helping to create 50 new jobs in the Greater Hazleton Area.
CAN DO continues to build a talented and dedicated team to support its efforts of fostering economic development and community growth in the Greater Hazleton area. This summer, the CAN DO staff is joined by Tina Huang, a newly graduated student from Penn State Hazleton specializing in Business and Project & Supply Chain Management, as a Marketing & Communications Intern.
