CAN DO, Inc., announced the return of its annual Curb Appeal Awards, which recognize businesses across the organization’s four industrial and business parks for outstanding landscaping, property maintenance, and overall appearance. Now in its 19th year, the program highlights the pride industries take in maintaining attractive, welcoming environments throughout the Greater Hazleton Area.

Dr. Sherri Homanko and James Dino will return as judges for the 2026 season, joined this year by CAN DO Property Committee Chair, Jeff Mason, Jr. Together, they will evaluate properties throughout the month of July. Facilities will be assessed on first impressions, landscaping and visual appeal, safety and cleanliness, and creativity.
“I look forward to participating in the Curb Appeal Awards alongside Sherri each year because it provides an opportunity to see the continued investment businesses make in their facilities and properties,” Dino said. “The pride companies take in maintaining their locations reflects positively on the entire community, and it’s always exciting to see the improvements and enhancements taking place throughout the parks.”
Homanko shared, “Each year, it’s encouraging to see the ongoing improvements businesses make to their properties. These efforts reflect the pride they take in their facilities and demonstrate the commitment that defines our business community.”

Winners will be recognized during an industry-exclusive mixer this fall at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Humboldt Station. Awards will be presented across multiple categories, including:
- Humboldt Industrial Park: Three awards for companies with under 100 employees, 100–200 employees, and more than 200 employees
- Valmont Industrial Park: Two awards for companies with under 100 employees and more than 100 employees
