CAN DO, Inc., is proud to announce Ashlee Pimentel as its new Accounting Specialist I.
In this role, she will support the organization’s financial operations by assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing monthly financial reports, maintaining accounting records, supporting annual budget preparation and financial audits, and collaborating closely with Chief Financial Officer Patricia Gendler to help ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization.
“I’m excited to join CAN DO and begin my professional career with an organization that has such a meaningful impact on the Greater Hazleton Area,” she said. “I look forward to applying what I’ve learned, continuing to grow as an accounting professional, and supporting the organization’s mission.”
Pimentel recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from King’s College, majoring in Accounting with a concentration in Finance, during which time she gained hands-on experience through her internship with Kneeream and Associates in Kingston, Pennsylvania. As she begins her role with CAN DO, she said she is eager to apply her education while continuing to grow professionally.
“We are excited to welcome Ashlee to the CAN DO team,” said Patricia Gendler, Chief Financial Officer. “Her enthusiasm for the accounting profession make her an excellent addition to our Accounting Department. We look forward to the contributions she will make in supporting our organization and its mission.”
As Accounting Specialist I, Pimentel will assist with daily accounting operations, maintain financial records for CAN DO and its affiliated organizations, support regulatory reporting requirements, and collaborate with internal departments, auditors, vendors, contractors, and tenants throughout the organization’s portfolio to ensure efficient financial operations.
