Highways

Direct access to Interstates 81 and 80, which interconnect with nearby I-476 (the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike), I-84 and I-380 and puts your company within a 300-mile radius of 25 percent of the population and total production of the entire nation.

The City of Hazleton operates an intermodal transportation center in downtown Hazleton. This center is the hub of intra-city and regional bus service.

Railways

Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad provides rail service throughout Humboldt Industrial Park. Norfolk Southern provides rail service throughout Valmont Industrial Park. Seven miles of rail lines extend nearly the entire length of Humboldt Industrial Park, while 2.5 miles of rail extend through Valmont Industrial Park.

Hazleton and Northeast Rail Commerce Center's Intermodal transportation and transload services assist in moving freight for industries to optimize transportation costs. The transload facility just off Exit 145 of Interstate 81 is available to industries in the Hazleton area. Hazleton and Northeast Rail Commerce Center's direct connection to Norfolk Southern Railway allows for goods to be shipped and received from anywhere in the continental United States.

Ports

The South Jersey Port Corporation is approximately 100 miles southeast via the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike. The SJPC has shipside rail access at both the Beckett Street Terminal and the Broadway Terminal and can offer direct rail discharge. The port is serviced by three Class 1 railroads. CSX, Norfolk Southern and Canadian Pacific transports cargo throughout the United States and Canada.

The Port Authority of NY and NJ is approximately 125 miles east via Interstate 80. The authority has shipside rail access at both the Port Newark and the Elizabeth-PA Marine Terminals and can offer direct rail via Norfolk Southern.
