Joseph Lettiere has been promoted to the position of vice president of CAN DO, Inc., Greater Hazleton’s economic development organization, announced CAN DO President W. Kevin O’Donnell.

Lettiere, who first joined CAN DO in 2000 as an economic development specialist, quickly earned the title of marketing director and then vice president of marketing, before most recently being named vice president of CAN DO.

“Over the years, Joe has proven himself repeatedly to be a vital component of our team as we create and retain jobs for the people of Greater Hazleton,” O’Donnell said. “CAN DO and the Hazleton area both benefit from his hard work and dedication to economic development. We’re proud to have him as part of our organization.”

CAN DO Chairman Llewellyn F. Dryfoos III also recognized Lettiere’s dedication to CAN DO saying, “Over the course of more than 15 years, Joe has demonstrated a genuine care for this community combined with an energizing drive that pushes him through the many projects he handles. CAN DO is stronger and better for his dedication and hard work.”

A Hazleton native, Lettiere holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Bloomsburg University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University.
