Tenants who have beautified and maintained their properties in CAN DO’s industrial parks will be honored at the economic development agency’s upcoming Curb Appeal Awards mixer.

The program, in its ninth year, presents awards to companies in Humboldt, Humboldt North, Humboldt West, McAdoo and Valmont industrial parks, as well as Humboldt Station and the CAN DO Corporate Center during an industry mixer held in September at Residence Inn by Marriott in Humboldt Station.

Residence Inn by Marriott is the mixer sponsor and award sponsors are Arc Electric, Eddie’s Lawn Care, Gottstein Contracting, Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association, Nause Landscaping, Trefoil TTA, T. Verrastro Beverage Co. and Larry Walko Landscaping.

In addition to an overall winner, Curb Appeal Award winners are chosen in the categories of “Companies with 1 to 75 employees,” “Companies with more than 75 employees,” “Commercial Services,” and “Commercial – Hotels, Restaurants and Retail.”

Property reviews for the 2016 Curb Appeal Awards have been completed, and members of the Curb Appeal Awards Subcommittee are in the process of reviewing the nominees, tabulating the results and selecting winning properties.
